WINTERFEST AT GREEN RIDGE GOLF COURSE
Saturday, January 17 from 1:00-4:00 PM
Join us for Wickliffe’s first ever WinterFest at Green Ridge Golf Course on January 17 from 1:00-4:00 PM.  Come and experience for yourself the fun that Green Ridge Golf Course has to offer in the Winter.  Activities are planned for the entire family even if it does not snow.  Food, hot chocolate, candy, give aways, crafts and entertainment.  Our main attraction will be a live ice carving demonstration from Elegant Ice Creations.  You will be amazed at the artistic ability of this ice sculptor as he creates a unique Green Ridge Golf Course masterpiece right before your eyes.

If you are hungry, we have refreshments in the clubhouse as you warm up by the blazing fire in our fireplace.  Enter our Chili Cook – Off Contest with your favorite recipe.  Call the Recreation Department to register at 943-7120.  (Limited to 10 entries).  Bring one gallon of chili in a crock pot to the golf course and watch our judges crown the champion.  Click here for a copy of the Chili Cook-off Rules (.pdf file).

The Wickliffe Public Library will be there with a special craft and the Boy Scout Troop 289 will also be there with interesting games to play outdoors.  Lake Metroparks also will stop by with snowshoes for an adventurous hike through the woods.  Bring your ice skates, cross country skis, and sleds as we highlight the different winter activities at the course.  Check the city’s website at www.cityofwickliffe.com for the latest details as we continue to build this event that will truly be an unforgettable happening.
