Planning Commission / Architectural Review

| Purpose |
Meets the first Thursday of the month at 7:30 pm
at City Hall. The Planning Commission is charged
with the duty to advise the Mayor and Council on matters related
to the review and approval of all commercial construction and
remodeling. It shall make standards it deems necessary regarding
how streets, grading, water, sewer, utility, piping, and other
facilities shall be installed to secure harmonious development
within the City of Wickliffe. |

| Purpose |
Meets when needed the fourth Thursday of the month
at 7:30 pm at City Hall. The Board of Zoning Appeals hears appeals
on decisions made by the Building Commissioner or by any administrative
officer on matters relating the Zoning Ordinance; for relief from
any order, requirement, decision or determination, including the
refusal of permits; and may decide appeals by reversing, or affirming
wholly or in part, or modifying such order, requirement, decision
or determination. |

Keep Wickliffe Beautiful Commission |
| Purpose |
Meets the fourth Wednesday of each month at 7:00
pm in the Victorian Room at Wickliffe City Hall. The Keep Wickliffe
Beautiful Commission is a volunteer affiliate board comprised
of 10 appointed members and a subcommittee of unlimited number.
These volunteers address environmental issues, including litter
prevention, recycling, and education.

| Purpose |
Meets as necessary. The Civil Service Commission
shall provide by rule for the ascertainment of merit and fitness
as the basis for appointment and promotion in the service of the
City of Wickliffe, as requires by the laws of the State of Ohio,
and hears appeals from the action of the Mayor in any case of
transfer, reduction, or removal. |

recommend and advise the Mayor and Council on the adoption of
programs designed to improve the environment and ecology of the

Charter Review Commission |
| Purpose |
The Charter Review Commission reviews the City
Charter every ten years per City ordinance. Meetings are held
on the Second and Fourth Tuesdays of each month through May, 2008
at 7:00 p.m. in Council Chambers. Meeting dates are: February
12 and 26; March 11 and 25; April 8 and 22; and May 13 and 27. |
