A gem from the start
Even from its inception in the 1920’s, Green Ridge Golf Course
has always filled a perfect niche for the golf lover. This nine-hole,
2,215 yard, par 32 course is ideal for the beginner, senior, ladies
or the those who want to work on their short game. This is a great course
to learn the game of golf. The hilly terrain and tree-lined plateaus
add to the course’s natural beauty. Green Ridge Golf Course holds
the distinction of being one of the oldest courses in Ohio. Little has
changed in the course’s layout since its beginning. Fairways are
open without many hazards. Don’t be fooled by its straight forward
approach. Each hole has a unique challenge. Power carts and pull carts
are available. Course is open year round.

Wickliffe Family Night -

Youth Golf Lessons at Green Ridge Golf Course
Wickliffe kids can learn the fundamentals, basic rules and proper golf etiquette with instructor Harrison McCall on Thursday mornings at Green Ridge Golf Course. Mr. McCall played golf at Wickliffe High School, works at Green Ridge Golf Course and has been involved in lessons at the course. Boys and Girls ages 8 to 14. Maximum: 6 per session per group. Cost: $35; (Non residents may sign up June 18 at $50). Call Recreation Department at 943-7120 to register for youth golf lessons.
Session I – June 24, July 1, 8 and 15.
Session II – July 29, Aug. 5, 12 and 19
Group A – 9AM to 10:15AM (No golf experience)
Group B - 10:30AM to 11:45AM (Limited golf experience)
Leagues and outings at Green Ridge Golf Course
It’s never too early to think about golf! Green Ridge Golf Course is now forming its league schedule for the 2010 season. Groups are returning from last year, so don’t hesitate to secure a playing time for your group. Call the course at 440-943-0007 and speak with Lornie Rotondo or Todd Calic.
New and returning leagues are always welcome at Green Ridge Golf Course.
Registering your league gives you a guaranteed tee time each week. We
have a few well-established leagues that return year after year, but
there is always an opportunity for additional leagues to join. Ladies,
men’s, seniors and junior leagues are all welcome. League play
usually begins at the end of April or early May and can continue into
early fall. Some leagues are looking for players; let us try to
match you with a league.
Green Ridge Golf Course is an ideal location for your next outing.
The nature of this course lends itself to a short, enjoyable nine-hole
outing that won’t take up the whole day. Schedule an outing for
a morning or afternoon. Our covered patio, grill and clubhouse areas
allow the event to happen even if the weather turns inclement. This
short course would be a great spot for a corporate challenge, birthday
party, sports team or family outing. Start anew tradition at the course!
