A gem from the start
Even from its inception in the 1920’s, Green Ridge Golf Course
has always filled a perfect niche for the golf lover. This nine-hole,
2,215 yard, par 32 course is ideal for the beginner, senior, ladies
or the those who want to work on their short game. This is a great course
to learn the game of golf. The hilly terrain and tree-lined plateaus
add to the course’s natural beauty. Green Ridge Golf Course holds
the distinction of being one of the oldest courses in Ohio. Little has
changed in the course’s layout since its beginning. Fairways are
open without many hazards. Don’t be fooled by its straight forward
approach. Each hole has a unique challenge. Power carts and pull carts
are available. Course is open year round.
4th ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT
June 21, 2008 at Green Ridge Golf Course
To benefit the "Lights On Afterschool" program
for Wickliffe Middle School Students. Fee: $30 per person for 9 holes,
$40 on day of event. Includes lunch, prizes, skill evenets, and hole
in one contest. 8:30 AM shotgun start. Mulligans and carts available
for additional fee. Payment at Green Ridge secures your spot. Call Tim
Stopp at (440) 943-7120 if you would like to sponsor a hole.
Leagues and outings
New and returning leagues are always welcome at Green Ridge Golf Course.
Registering your league gives you a guaranteed tee time each week. We
have a few well-established leagues that return year after year, but
there is always an opportunity for additional leagues to join. Ladies,
men’s, seniors and junior leagues are all welcome. League play
usually begins at the end of April or early May and can continue into
early fall. Contact the Course Manager at (440) 943-0007 for more details
on league play. Some leagues are looking for players; let us try to
match you with a league.
Green Ridge Golf Course is an ideal location for your next outing.
The nature of this course lends itself to a short, enjoyable nine-hole
outing that won’t take up the whole day. Schedule an outing for
a morning or afternoon. Our covered patio, grill and clubhouse areas
allow the event to happen even if the weather turns inclement. This
short course would be a great spot for a corporate challenge, birthday
party, sports team or family outing. Start anew tradition at the course!

Youth Golf Lessons
For boys and girls ages 7 - 14. Held Tuesdays & Thursdays, times
based on ability, i.e. no golf experience or some golf experience. Residents:
$50, Non-Residents: $65. Course supplies all equipment. See Spring/Summer
Recreation Booklet for details.
Private Lessons
Fee: $40. Call 440-840-5154 to speak with Tim Trepepi, a PGA apprentice.
Held at Airport Greens Driving Range. Lesson includes a large bucket
of balls and 45 minutes of personal instruction. Based on availability.
