Wickliffe's Recycling & Litter Prevention Programs

Recycling & Litter Prevention activities for the City are coordinated by the City Programs Coordinator, who assists with the recycling activities of the community and addresses litter prevention issues in the Wickliffe community. If you see a litter problem, call the City Programs Coordinator at (440) 943-7100 to report the violation. The property owner will be notified and a follow-up with the Police Department will insure proper correction of reported violations.

DROP-OFF RECYCLING PROGRAM
Items for recycling include: metal and aluminum cans, plastic containers with #1 or #2 type plastic (symbol on bottom of container), newspapers, magazines, corrugated cardboard and chipboard, glass bottles and jars. Call (440) 943-7100 if you have any questions about what can be recycled at our drop off site.

DROP-OFF LOCATION - COULBY PARK
use City Hall driveway, bin in parking lot near the tennis courts and Aquatic Center

KEEP WICKLIFFE BEAUTIFUL
The Keep Wickliffe Beautiful Commission is a volunteer affiliate board of Keep America Beautiful and is comprised of 10 appointed members and a subcommittee of unlimited number. These volunteers address environmental issues, including litter prevention, recycling, and education.

The Keep Wickliffe Beautiful Commission hosts special activities and educational programs throughout the year, including Arbor Day Celebration, Community Clean-Ups, Clothing Collections, Special Recycling Collections, a Memorial Rose Garden at Coulby Park and their Annual Golf Outing. At the end of each year, the Keep Wickliffe Beautiful Commission holds an Award Banquet to recognize outstanding community volunteerism.

If you would like to get involved and volunteer some of your time, please call Patricia Fowler, City Programs Coordinator at (440) 943-7100.
Stay Informed… Read the Wickliffe Connection
The Keep Wickliffe Beautiful Commission publishes their activities in the Wickliffe Connection which is distributed quarterly to all Wickliffe residents. It contains timely information about upcoming events and recycling collections, as well as recycling tips and other suggestions for waste reduction and reuse of materials that would otherwise be discarded.
