Reporting Power Outages and Street Light Outages
First Energy's new communication tools provide customers with simple and convenient ways to get the most current information related to their electric service. Click here for information. Or go to the First Energy website at www.firstenergycorp.com.
In the case of a power outage call CEI (First Energy) at 1-888-544-4877 to report the outage. CEI tracks the number of outage calls and will escalate service based on the number of calls received.
DO NOT call the Wickliffe Police Dept. or 911 to report the outage

The Lake County Emergency Management Agency and Local Emergency Planning Committee have announced the “Ready Lake County” campaign to motivate residents to take action to be self-prepared for any disaster or emergency. www.readylakecounty.com provides easy access to existing agencies and available resources, including advice on which resources are best for different needs.
Birth & Death Certificates
Lake County General Health District now provides Birth Certificates for everyone born in the State of Ohio. If you have any questions please feel free to contact their office Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Tuesdays 8:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. at 440-350-2549. Department of Utilities - Helpful Tips
The Lake County Department of Utilities posted informative guidelines regarding "Leak Detection Tips" and "What NOT to put Down the Toilet, Drains & Garbage Disposals." NOPEC Customer Service
NOPEC provides a customer service hot line to answer questions regarding electric and gas programs available through this public energy buying group. Wickliffe is a member of this group. Dominion Energy Solutions is the gas provider for NOPEC communities including Wickliffe. You can obtain more information at their website www.nopecinfo.org. You can compare the energy choices of other gas providers by viewing the Office Of Ohio Consumers' Council website at www.pickocc.org. Click on the "Comparing Energy Choices" link under the Natural Gas heading to view the current pricing of many gas providers.

Drug Collection & Disposal Program
Lake County residents can bring their unwanted and expired prescriptions, cold/flu medications, pain relievers, pet medications, vitamins, creams, cough syrups, pills and prescription pain killers to a free continuous drop off collection. Columbarium Niches Available
The Wickliffe Cemetery has been reopened for columbarium inurnments of cremated remains. There are two columbariums at the cemetery. Each is a beautiful stone structure that holds 48 niches, 24 on each side. There are stone benches placed on each side of the columbariums, so that mourners can rest as they remember their departed loved one.
Niche sizes are 11 ¼” x 11 ¼” x 11 ¼” and accommodate one urn per niche.
The niche price for Wickliffe residents is $725, which includes the $500 niche cost, $150 perpetual care fee and $75 filing fee. Non-resident pricing is $1175, which includes the $950 niche cost, $150 perpetual care fee and $75 filing fee. There are additional fees for inurnment, engraving of niche, disurnment and deed transfers. See attached forms for pricing and purchase procedures.

Health and Human Services Assistance - Dial 211
Lake County has made this information service possible through collaboration with United Way, the Lake County Commissioners and the Lake County ADAMHS Board. Wickliffe residents can dial 211 or (440) 953-5465 or (800)654-5465 to be connected to a person with vast knowledge of the health and human resources available in our Community. The information is free and confidential, 24 hours a day, every day. You can also visit their website at www.211lake.org. Not to be confused with 9-1-1 for police or fire emergencies.
