WICKLIFFE POLICE DEPARTMENT – POLICE / FIRE DISPATCHER
The Wickliffe Police Department will be testing for police/fire dispatcher. The position is full-time, requires shift work and work on weekends and holidays. Duties are to monitor communications networks, relay information to officers in the field, and work fluently with computer systems. Applicants must have a high school diploma and computer experience. General knowledge of communication systems, computer aided dispatch, and prior safety forces dispatching is preferred but not required. Must possess the ability to communicate with others in a professional manner and demonstrate good written and verbal communications skills. A proven history of regular, reliable, and punctual attendance required. High level of alertness, flexibility to change, and multi-tasking is required.
Salary starting at $20.97/hr and maxing at $25.62/hr. The applicant must pass the written test, background check, CVSA test, and pass a post offer physical exam and drug screening.
