HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE COLLECTION

Accepted items include: household cleaners & solvents – thinners, kerosene, turpentine, lighter fluid, strippers; automotive fluids – motor oil, gasoline, coolants, antifreeze, grease; oil based paints, varnish, shellacs, stains, aerosols, primers, grout; fluorescent bulbs; batteries – lead acid and household; pool, lawn and garden chemicals -pesticides, weed killers, spray insecticides; empty propane tanks; roofing tars; driveway sealers, adhesives.

Not accepted: smoke alarms, ammunition, explosives, medical waste including prescription medicines and needles.
Leave products in original container or label contents if known.  Trained technicians will unload your car at the event.   For more information, call the Solid Waste District at (440) 350-2644.
