Lifeguard  – Seasonal Position

The City of Wickliffe Recreation Department seeks qualified candidates to work at the city’s pools and spray park for the 2021 season.  Lifeguards must have current lifeguard certification. Applications are available at Recreation Department office.  Applications will be accepted until June 1, 2021 at the Recreation Department office located at City Hall.

School Crossing Guard – Part Time

The Wickliffe Police Department is accepting applications for regular part-time school crossing guard. Guide and supervise children crossing the street on the way to school and after school. 15-17 hours per week, $9.50 per hour. Monday-Friday with weekends and holidays off. Evening Monitor at Wickliffe Community Center 

The City of Wickliffe is looking for a reliable, friendly, trustworthy candidate for the Evening Monitor position at the Wickliffe Community Center located at 900 Worden Road. This position is part time, but year round – Monday through Thursday evenings from 5PM-9PM.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to greeting and “checking-in” all who attend meetings, classes and other functions at the Center.   Monitor the evening events at the Center to ensure that the facility is properly utilized and maintained.    Light cleaning, limited financial transactions, room arranging, answering the phones and closing the facility are also included in the job’s responsibilities.   Hourly rate will be discussed during interview.  The job application can be accessed HERE or at the Recreation Department at City Hall. 

General Maintenance – Two Positions

The City of Wickliffe Recreation Department is accepting applications for two General Maintenance positions at the Wickliffe Community Center.  Both Daytime and Evening Positions are available at this time.  Successful candidate will have the ability to perform general maintenance tasks including but not limited to: mopping, sweeping, cleaning, re-stocking supplies and general sanitizing / cleaning of the Wickliffe Community Center.  Candidate should possess the ability to run light maintenance equipment including vacuum and floor scrubber.  The Daytime position offers approximately 15 hours per week, primarily in late afternoon, Monday through Friday.  The Evening position will be offered from 5-9PM, Monday through Thursday.  The Evening position may also include some general responsibilities to assist in the smooth operation of evening activities at the Center.  Click HERE for an application.  Return to Tim Stopp, Wickliffe Recreation Department, 28730 Ridge Road.  Applications accepted until positions are filled.
