WICKLIFFE RECREATION DEPARTMENT SPORTS & PROGRAMS
A fun, interactive program that introduces safety awareness and preventive procedures to children entering kindergarten or first grade. Using resources from D.A.R.E., Coalition National Crime Prevention Council, Rescue 1 Fire Safety for Kids Inc., and U.S. Department of Homeland Security/FEMA. Safety education is taught through various teaching techniques: a miniature “town” with streets, traffic signals, signs, buildings, and “automobile traffic” (tricycles) reinforce the traffic and pedestrian rules taught in class, trip to ACBC Fire House and a visit with the Wickliffe Police and Fire Departments. Classes will meet for 5 consecutive days (Monday thru Friday) for 2 hours per day and will conclude with a graduation ceremony. Limit of 10 children in each class.
Session I: June 14 to June 18 or Session II: July 12 to July 16 Time: 9:30-11:30am.
Fee: $35 Resident/$40 Non-resident. Classes held at Wickliffe Elementary School.

JUNIOR “BLUE DEVIL” BASKETBALL CAMP – Instructors: Coach Aaron Rataj

First through 4th grade
July 12-15, 9-10:30 a.m.
Fee: $40 Resident; $50 Non-resident.
Held at Wickliffe Elementary School Gym. Registration and payment due by July 9.
Limit 25 campers. For boys and girls entering grades 1st thru 4th in the 2021–2022 school year.
This camp is designed to introduce campers to the fundamentals of the game. Emphasis on basic
skills, dribbling, passing, and shooting as well as friendly competition. This is an instructional
camp with minimal time devoted to games. Campers will receive a T-shirt.

Wickliffe Middle School Gymnasium
6th through 8th grade
July 26-30, 9 a.m.-Noon
Fee: $35 Resident/Non-Resident
Held at Wickliffe Middle School Gym.
Campers will develop and strengthen the fundamental skills of Volleyball.
For girls entering grades 6-8 during the 2021–2022 school year. Each camper will receive a T-shirt.

YOGA IN THE PARK!
June 19, 26, July 24 and August 14, 9:30 a.m. $10 per person, per class. Join yoga instructor Cassandra Shofar for a gentle one-hour Hatha-style yoga class outdoors located in one of our beautiful Wickliffe City Parks (actual site to be announced). Bring a mat, towel, water and any props you wish to use and enjoy gentle stretches, invigorating breath-work and heart-opening movements surrounded by nature’s tranquil elements as Cassandra guides you through a well-rounded class topped with a deep, relaxing meditation. WICKLIFFE SOCCER CLUB
The Wickliffe Soccer Club offers competitive soccer leagues for players of any ability and experience level. Seasons begin in the fall and last about two months, then continue in the spring for approximately six weeks. In our split-season format, your registration and fee will cover both the Fall 2021 and Spring 2022 sessions.

WICKLIFFE WATER DEVILS SWIM TEAM
- The Wickliffe Water Devils is a recreational summer team that encourages fitness, friendship and team spirit!
- We swim from early June through the last weekend of July.
- No previous competitive swimming experience is needed, just a love of the water and the ability to swim the length of Coulby Pool.
- Practices are weekday mornings or evenings; meets are on Saturdays at local pools.

Anyone signing up after May 8th will incur a LATE REGISTRATION fee of $10.
2021 Fee’s as follows: $100 – one swimmer, $125 – two swimmers, $150 – three or more swimmers
