Indoor and Outdoor Fun

It’s never too early to join in! Sports activities can help your children develop lifelong habits of exercise and encourage them to learn social skills beyond the classroom.  Here is your source for sports programs, age 3 to 18, both city-run and community managed.   Sports provide opportunities for physical development, learning, and sportsmanship. Help build your child’s character on a foundation of healthy competition and teamwork.

Sports Programs

 Girls Basketball Open Gym
Supervised by the Wickliffe Girls Varsity Basketball Staff. Open play on Tuesday nights for grades 3rd-6th. 6:30-7:30p.m. Held at the Wickliffe Middle School Secondary Gym. Program starts November 5 and will run for the 4 Tuesdays in November.
Blue Devil Recreation Basketball
For boys and girls in grades 3-6. Practices on Wednesday nights at Wickliffe Middle School and games on Saturday mornings at Wickliffe High School. Register now at the Wickliffe Recreation Department. $60 Residents / $65 Non-residents. Non-residents registration begins November 1. Opening day December 7 at Wickliffe High School Gym at 9:00 am. Limited to the first 80 who register and make payment. This is a joint effort with Wickliffe Recreation Department and Wickliffe High School Varsity Basketball.BLUE DEVIL BASKETBALL 2019-2020

Pee Wee Basketball League
For boys and girls in grades 1 & 2 (Kindergarten children ready for basketball are welcome). Limited to the first 64 who register. Held Thursday nights at Wickliffe Elementary School. A fun way to introduce youngsters to the basics of basketball. Equipment and rules designed to accommodate ages of children. $40 residents / $50 nonresidents. Program will start in January 2020. Coaches are needed! More details to come.

Wickliffe Soccer Club

The Wickliffe Soccer Club offers competitive soccer leagues for players of any ability and experience level. Seasons begin in the fall and last about two months, then continue in the spring for approximately six weeks.  In our split-season format, your registration and fee will cover both the Fall 2018 and Spring 2019 sessions.
