Yard of the Year
Each year, the Keep Wickliffe Beautiful Commission selects one Yard of the Year winner in each of the four wards in Wickliffe. Trained evaluators canvas assigned areas of the city using a rating score sheet to evaluate the top yards in their area. A final panel of judges then views the top 10 nominations from each ward and selects the winner. Winners are presented a Yard of the Year sign for their yard and a photo is included in the Wickliffe Connection.

Thank you, Wickliffe! Once again it was not easy to just choose one Yard of the Year for each ward. Our judges thoughtfully and carefully combed for the best of the best. This year our criteria were revised to include a lot of different yards. Each winner was very excited and pleased at being chosen a winner. We have great people here in our city. It was also a pleasure to be invited to visit backyards as well. There are quite a few sanctuaries in our backyards. If you have any suggestions for 2026, or would like to be a judge, please email Keep Wickliffe Beautiful.
