Do Not Knock Regulations (Ordinance 739.09)

It is unlawful for any canvasser or solicitor to approach, knock on the door, or ring the doorbell of a residence where a “Do Not Knock” sign or sticker is visibly displayed.

Residents who wish to opt out of door-to-door solicitations may either post their own “Do Not Knock” sign or register with the Do Not Knock Registry through NOPEC at www.blocktheknock.com. Those who register will receive a free window cling to display at their residence.

All solicitors who obtain permits from the City of Wickliffe are provided with an up-to-date list of addresses on the registry and are required to avoid these properties.
